Practical ideas for choosing your next ride and getting familiar with your setup.
Guide 01
Start with the journey, not the biggest number
Think about the trips you repeat: their distance, road surface, hills and storage at both ends. A compact folding frame solves a different problem from an extended utility layout. Compare the fit and handling requirements before deciding on motor output.
Guide 02
Range is an estimate, not a reservation
Battery capacity is only one part of the picture. Rider and cargo weight, temperature, hills, tire pressure and assistance level affect the distance you can travel. Leave a sensible reserve rather than planning a route around a maximum advertised figure.
Guide 03
A calmer first outing
Read the supplied manual, finish the assembly checks and confirm the brakes, tires, controls and battery attachment. Start in an appropriate low-traffic area where use is permitted. Get used to acceleration and braking before adding luggage or attempting a longer route.
Guide 04
Choose extras for the exact model
Check mounting points, clearance, electrical compatibility and load limits before choosing accessories. A rear rack or long seat alone does not establish passenger suitability. Ask for the approved equipment and instructions for the exact configuration.
